Imām al-Barbahārī (rahimahullāh, died 329 AH) stated: “Know that Allah’s Messenger (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) said: “My ummah will divide into 73 sects, all of them will be in the Fire except for one, and that is the Jamā’ah.” It was said,  “And who are they, O Allah’s Messenger?” He (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) responded,  “That which I and my Companions are upon today.”

Now ask yourselves the following: who, today, is upon what Allah's messenger (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) and the sahaba were upon?
If you have some knowledge, you will quickly answer ahlus sunnah wal jamaah.
My brothers and sisters, don't play with Allah's religion, this is not something to be spoken about without knowledge.

Ahlus-Sunnah Wal Jama'ah [terms abbreviated for Sunni] is the truth because it follows the sunnah of the Prophet (sallahu alaihi wassalm) and has esteemed scholars that established correct interpretations.

Brother read the whole Hadith one sect is saved from the hellfire and that one sect is the people that follow the messenger and his companions, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also described them in the following terms: “My ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of whom will be in Hell except one group.” They said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “(Those who follow) that which I and my companions follow.”

You conveniently cut out the part of the hadith where it says all of them will go into hellfire, expect one. That one is Ahl-us-Sunnah.

Shi'as are Muslims. Shi'a is not a sect, it basically means friend or companion, more specifically the companion or friend of Ali Ibn Abi Talib. If you are a friend or companion of Ali, you are automatically a companion or friend of Muhammad, following the sunnaah of Muhammad comes naturally to a Shi'a. We are already Muslims and Sunn'is by default. We only call ourselves the friend of Ali.

Also, the word Shi'a is the only word positively mentioned multiple times in the Holy Quran.

Again, Shi'a is not a sect, it's an allegiance to Ali over Muawiya. The friends of Ali were already Muslim because Ali was a Muslim, and Ali's muslimhood was directly learned by living in the same house as Muhammad and always being with him being taught directly day and night.
