I am a fellow Shia and I would like to share my understanding of what we believe as a Shia. First of all, we believe that the successor of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him should’ve been Imam Ali (A), as Prophet Muhammad raised his hand in the middle of the scorching hot desert after his last Hajj. The Khalifs that were chosen as khalifs by the people all contributed to not letting Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him write his will when all Muslims have to write a will before they pass and claimed that the Prophet (tubanawozubillah) was hallucinating or something of that sort and claimed the Quran was enough. The khalif chosen by the people Omar, had been jealous of Imam Ali (A) since he was rejected from marrying Bibi Fatima Zahra peace be upon her, the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad. It is evident that Omar martyred her after sending his men to Imam Ali (A)’s home burning down their door and hurting pregnant Bibi Fatima Zahra causing for her abortion and death. In addition, the reason why we Shias pray morning prayers alone in the morning, the noon and afternoon prayers together, and Maghrib and isha together is because a prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him prayed in this way. The reason why we use turbahs during our prayer is because people back in the days would rest their foreheads on the sand of the ground and the turbans indicate that we were created from dirt and return to dirt and also for clean surface, I hope you guys keep this in mind.
