As a young child, I would sit and watch my grandfather do his prayers. I was mesmerized by the entire process. He had that small piece of clay that you speak of and he would hit it with his forehead every time he would bend down. I'm 53 years old and your video just taught me the whole reason why he was doing that. He turned 101 last week and is still a devout Iranian Sufi muslim.
