“So what can we conclude?” We can conclude that we (US) need to mind our own damn business and stop the endless wars in the Middle East.

They did a good job breaking this down and making it easy to understand. Alot of videos on youtube try to explain this rift between the two sects but by the end im still pretty confused.

I’m a Shi’a Muslim, and am willing to help answer any misconceptions you guys have about us. I am only 14 years old tho, but I am strong in my faith and would like to have peaceful discussions with anybody

I'm Christian but hate Jehova Witnesses, because they ring my doorbell, every Saturday, when I'm resting.

"Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do"

There is a disagreement regarding the attributes of God between the Ash’aris (meaning the Sunnis) and the Shiites. The Shiites claim that God is His attributes, while we believe that God is an entity characterized by attributes befitting His majesty, and God does not take place with us and does not change. As for the Wahhabis (who attribute themselves to the Sunnis), which Britain established in Saudi Arabia, they resemble God created him, and they claim that he has a hand, a head, a foot, and a finger, in fact, and that he runs, and that God speaks through the Qur’an, and that he has a shadow and weight, and from this sect emerged ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and other sects.

ISIS, Al qaeda, Taliban, Boko Haram are not Sunni they are wahhabi(a sect which was created by British in 19th century). Shia Sunni live peacefully in Iran, India, Pakistan, UAE, Malaysia etc.

We can conclude that sunni and shia's will fight each other and neither of them will win but they sure would bring suffering to their own country and country men.

I wonder if there's an updated version of this? (due to the developments of world politics since 8 years ago)
