3rd week with my Frenchie puppy!

1. Crate training helped tremendously especially with a stubborn breed. It’s though! 2. In order to sleep I keep him in the living room 3. Let him cry he’ll adjust 4. When you first get him take time off. 5. Make sure they play it out before you try to put them in the crate 6.adding pumpkin to food eliminates them eating their poop makes poop taste bitter. 7 set boundaries in the house or they’ll potty everywhere. 8. Ohhhh and stick to a routine!

Ziggy was puppy pad trained in two weeks and follows main commands and sleeps through the night . Hopefully this helps someone cuz I was googling and YouTubing everything

I must be lucky. First week with my new frenchie. No crying at all. Puppy sleeps fine through the night. I get up and take it out when I wake up at night having to pee. 11 weeks old and she has only pee'd in her kennel once. She has stayed in there for up to 6 hours at night.

I can tell you that Frenchie puppies are highly intelligent, besides being adorable! They can be patient and stubborn too, lol. Overall, a Frenchie is the best little - best friend you will ever have! 💕

The chewing is on another level. I have went through 2 remotes, 5 pairs of earphones and an entire set of dentures. I'm not just leaving this stuff around, they are very smart and mine has figured out how to open drawers. Also, he is eating the kitty poop not his own. I can't block the cats from their toilet so at a lose on that. I tell people don't get a frenchie unless you're prepared to have a toddler in the shape of a puppy for at least a year.

3 weeks in. Everything you have said was spot on! I thought I was crazy until this vid. Everything is moving forward well.
We let our Frenchie take day naps with us on the weekend but he sleeps in a crate at night

Spot on. My Frenchie is 15 weeks and the 1st week (she was 8 wks) was a total mess; I felt like a zombie and looked like 1 too. 🤪🧟‍♀️ She's been potty trained since the first week I had her and she did attempt to eat her poop, at first, but that was the only time.
I enjoyed your video and the cameo by your Frenchie. 😍

Still remember the day I've got my Frenchie Bailey. She was so scared. That was 13 years ago last year she died. God how I miss her she was my best friend. 💖

I’ve had my 11-week-old puppy for four days, and this video hit all the pain points. Thank you for this info; I know that my pup and me aren’t broken or incompatible - it’s just a process. 😊

Omg! Beautiful! How does your other fellow feel? My daughter has Mabel a 7 month old full of character! I’ve never seen a dog that evokes so much happiness and joy with antics. She is gray/beige brindle. Mostly gray. Such a delight. 🐾🐾

Lol, I laughed out loud at the first one: SLEEP. My frenchie puppy deal was sealed faster than expected last Saturday and they brought him over Sunday morning. I didn't get ANY sleep before he arrived. Let's just say Monday was pretty dreadful... and I've needed to take some naps with him to get some sleep in. Also very challenging trying to work while you have a puppy that you need to train and him doing everything he isn't supposed to do. I have gone through this with a pug puppy 12 years ago, so I needed to remind myself that yes it was like this, it's just been a long time and "hey, you wanted a puppy, now live with it!" lol.. Luckily my frenchie boy has learned (besides few accidents) that he needs to go to the bathroom for number two already and we are working on getting number one there too, and not anywhere else. He also only wakes up once a night and though he did show some symptoms of getting too alert after pee or poo in the night luckily I've been able to calm him down rather quickly, I just take him to bed and give him his toy and we cuddle up and soon he forgets the toy... so we've been able to get to sleep pretty soon after which has been a lifesaver for me this week, or first five days really as it's not been a week yet. My frenchie is quite mischievous and gets around to everything, so I have had my days packed trying to absorb all his behavioral patterns and quirks so I can get ahead of him. But he is a handful alright. I am so looking forward to the weekend (not that that changes routines much) lol

You nailed it, mine is only 9 weeks old and what a character. I'm struggling with the potty training right now. Learning when he needs to go. He will pee on the pad but won't poop on it because the breeder taught him not to. Which isn't a big deal because I want him to learn to do both outside and when he has I praise him but he's so young he's still Learning. Ty for the tips.

I appreciate this video. I’m getting my first Frenchie in April and just really preparing myself and have been for awhile trying to get all the knowledge possible!

Great advice! What treats do you prefer for 8 week old frenchies? Something easy on their tummy?
