I wanted to be a plastic surgeon...so I entered my first Biology class with nothing but excitement and then I left thinking “UMM WOW. I quickly ran over to the Business School as fast as I could because I realized that just because you loved your Anatomy class from High School, that doesn’t mean you should be a surgeon.

I went on to graduate from Quinnipiac University in 2017 with a degree in Business Management and Computer Information Systems. While in college I was accepted into the Google Internship program and Rolls-Royce internship program.

I now work at Google NYC full-time in the Creative Lab, and before that I worked as an Intern Recruiter and before that I worked as a Google Adwords Account Strategist!

I’ve learned a lot along the way on how to be successful in your career journey, and through Hayles Consulting I will help you do the same.

One thing I did for my new job was to fill out all the HR forms early. (or have your info with you..banking..etc..) I was lucky that my employer sent them in an email, so I had time to fill them out at home and I had them ready when I met my HR person later.

Tacking your accomplishments is really great advice and will be so helpful when you need to fill out your self evaluation. I did that this year and it was helpful because I had a new boss and this way there was a record of continuous contribution. It also is great CYA because it makes it harder to be sabotaged
