See how sanctions changed Russian village. Life in rural Russia after sanctions w\@SurvivalRussia

Have Western sanctions finally worked? Is the long-term effect from sanctions already felt in Russia’s poorest communities? To find out, I traveled to the same Russian village I visited six months ago to see what exactly had happened to the people that claimed sanctions weren’t a big deal.

I’m not gonna lie but Russian people are really tough and smart. Most of them have more knowledge and understanding about wars then most leaders in western. The guy auto shop ans grandma explained very well clear about wars. Well done Russia 🇷🇺 keep almost entire world with you

I don't know how people don't realize that Russia is not Europe or America, they're use to handle hard times

Grocery price is going up significantly all around the world. Russia is doing an amazing job at protecting its economy and finding solutions in the sanction world.

That was hilarious. A Dane welcoming a Russian to his village in Siberia with “Welcome to Russia”.😂😂😂

Wow, I’m so surprised that a babushka from rural Russia knows about the Angela Merkel thing. Many people with access to social media don’t.
It would be interesting to do the price comparisons in some of the countries that sanctioned Russia.

Sanctions only hurt the people who has nothing to do with the war. I grew up in South Africa, we had sanctions for most of my life. We made things work for ourselves but it hurt the people that had nothing to do with the whole war. You go brave people!

Excellent report. The 80 year old lady with no Iphone is better informed about the war than most wired people in Europe and America .

One note, "Dobryi Cola" at 20:46 is not "kinda like Cola", but literally the original Coca-Cola.
The "Dobry" brand belonged to the Coca Cola Company and they simply began to release the original cola, fanta and sprite under the same brand. Even a bottle of "Dobry" Cola is literally a bottle of the original Fanta, and another cool fact is that it has become cheaper than the original Cola

Winter fuel, especially diesel, is usually always a little more expensive in Russia because additional additives are added to it so that it does not lose its properties in severe frosts (conventional/summer diesel fuel can only be used up to -10). By the way, there on the video you can see that before the price of diesel fuel, a blue snowflake on the sign at the gas station, this just shows that they are pouring winter fuel and you can not be afraid that it will freeze.

Another excellent video. What a range of diversity & interests in a winter rural self supporting village in Russia. This is outstanding selection of themes & insights. People are endlessly fascinating & resourceful. We all adapt & learn our way forward. The elderly lady at the end is my hero. She has so much to teach us all.
