Considering van gogh was dirt poor, lived humbly, was depressed and painted things like this to cheer others up and himself I'm not sure why he had to be targeted as a message.

Why do the people that have achieved nothing tear down the achievements of others so readily?

Sometimes these people do the most stupid and pointless things that have nothing to do with climate activism.

They should be made to pay for the damage. Oh that work of art is priceless. A reasonable sentence would be community service for life!

Ok, they *need* to be arrested immediately.

Wearing shirts that were shipped halfway around the world with oil. In jeans shipped halfway around the world with oil. In shoes shipped halfway around the world with oil. Using hair care products derived from oil. Throwing canned soup that was transported to their local store with oil. I also assume they took an oil-consuming means of transportation to the museum. SMH...

Did they also just super glue their hands to the wall?! Damn...that's gonna hurt! I want to see a video of security pulling their hands of the wall!

I immediately went to the dealership and got an electric vehicle after watching this.
I also now only heat my house by rubbing my hands together.

So they threw tomato soup at an oil painting, and the oil in the paint is made from plants and the tomato soup was factory made my machines that use oil. And they also probably took a car or a bus there. What a stride for humanity

Apparently there's glass over the painting so it should be fine. Not sure what they were trying to accomplish by ruining priceless artwork in the name of -Ecofacism-
Edit: My mistake, *_Ecoterrorism_*

The fact these two left there without a beating is beyond me, don’t get me wrong I’m no mega fan of art but that was just disrespectful

So do they have nothing better to do than pollute by tossing things like a monkey at a guy who’s work achieved far more than they combined ever will?

The brilliance of Van Gogh’s yellow flowers shines right through that tomato soup, rendering the soup yellow.

This is exactly what jordan Peterson was talking about. People with the low level of intelligence that think this is doing something are trying to tell us how to live in the real world

I say nobody under the age of 18 or under are allowed in art museums, who's with me.

And they think this is going to get sympathy instead of people trying to spite them for pointlessly attacking a famous painting painted by a talented, but poor man?

Reminds me, I need to go fill up my Lexus with 93 octane. This has inspired me to go do it now. And top off the heating oil tanks.

I love van Gogh's work.
