Could Mace Windu Have Actually Survived? Let's Break it Down

Mace Windu, arguably one of the most powerful Jedi during the time of the Republic, before Order 66 changed the fate of the galaxy. Mace Windu was a master of the jedi arts but most of all, a master of himself and his own darkness within. He was betrayed by Anakin Skywalker during his battle with Palpatine, which led to the fall of the Republic at the hands of Skywalker and the Clones executing Order 66.
In Star Wars, many characters have returned from certain death. Could Mace Windu do the same? Were his injuries that bad that would put him out for good? How high was that fall, say he did survive? Could Mace Windu show up in The Mandalorian season 3 and perhaps join Luke Skywalker and Grogu?

Let's see if it's possible for him to even have survived...

I've learned many things about Hollywood movies. One of these things are if you don't see a character pass away right in front of your own eyes, then that means they're still alive. So yeah, in short: Mace Windu, who went out of a window, (had to be said, I'm sorry lol) is still alive

Palpatine: "I am ALL the sith!"

“How is that possible?”
“Power. That’s how. And you and I both know this particular Jedi wields a great deal of it.”

My particular head-canon theory is that he did survive-- he landed in an open speeder that just happened to be carrying a group of hot Twilek nurses that were out partying, and they saved him. They took him in and healed him, and he lived happily ever after with them on a distant tropical world far from the Empire's reaches.

This is why I love Mace. On the surface from the Prequels only, he seems just like your regular Jedi, arrogant and dogmatic, only with a purple lightsaber. But when you delve deeper into his character, you can see how he became like that, and what his lightsaber and his personality represents, a darker side to him that has been there ever since he was young

I hope we see Mace again…. In his own show…. Before Episode I. He’s such an interesting and badass character.

Apparently Palpatine's force lightning is like trying to hold back a piss. It's impossible to stop lol

Alternate reality:
Kylo Ren: "You! I thought you were dead!"
Mace: "My death was, greatly exaggerated. So... you're the punk I heard about."
Kylo: "😟"

Most people don't know about terminal velocity. When you fall in an atmosphere, you don't accelerate forever. Eventually drag force equals acceleration from gravity and when you reach terminal velocity, you won't accelerate anymore. For a person in free fall, that is about 170 mph or after about 6.5 seconds. It doesn't matter if it's 400 feet or 14000 feet, the terminal velocity will be the same. 170 mph for one of the greatest jedi ever, using a force push to break his fall seems very feasible.

I have convinced myself after watching this scene over and over that Mace uses a force jump here to escape. They don’t show Palpatine motioning a throw with the force. The Grunt before the jump is his last ditch effort to break free from the force lightning. I believe he jumped and caught a speeder.

George Lucas' "Um, Sure." is all I needed to hear. It's his universe.

In terms of the in universe reason. He definitely could have a mean if Maul can survive being cut in half then Windu can survive losing an eye. But if people want it enough then Disney will bring him back.

Normally when a Jedi dies, another Jedi can feel that loss in the force. I went and watched the movie from that point on and it never cut away to another Jedi doing such, until during order 66 (like 15 minutes later) you see Yoda feeling all the losses from order 66, but there is no way to prove that includes windu’s. Most likely scenario is they didn’t show it on screen, but it could possibly mean Mace Windu never died or just before he died he was tapped into the dark side of the force.

Disney loves to bring back characters for plot convenience *cough* palpatine *cough* It would be a serious mistake if they didn’t at least entertain the idea of Mace Windu still being alive.

When I was younger I liked Mace because it was the first time I saw a purple lightsaber but when I got older I liked Mace because of his character depth, how he was one of the only Jedi at the time to control both light and dark while creating his own lightsaber fighting style.
