What's worse.... A: (Anakin Skywalker), Having your legs cut off and your left arm while left on boiling hot surface and then being caught on fire due to the extreme heat and then staying on fire for a while and then waiting ages before medical attention? Or B: (Mace Windu), Having one hand cut off, electrocuted powerfully for 4-5 seconds and falling about 600M and would be seen almost instantly and receive medical attention? I would like to think of Anakin could survive his injuries then Mace could survive his.

it doesn't matter what cannon or the script says. It only matters what Disney wants to do and it's reported that Samuel Jackson has been in talks with Disney to revise his character because he feels Mace would have survived his fall and he feels Mace deserves a larger roll in future movies.

There's a chance that they can redcone his death, because in the scene he doesn't scream when he gets thrown out of the window, he grunts as if he's the one throwing himself out, looking at it in some way it also looks like he jumped out to escape.
Samuel Jackson also wants to come back as Mace Windu in the new Star Wars series and even the actor who played as Finn really wants it to happen so I think it's a very high possibillity.

Mace had his arm amputated, was electrocuted, blown out of a Windu, was hit by no less than 3 flying cars, bounced off a building wall and impaled on a flag pole. Paramedics arrived and got him immediately on a stretcher, administering CPR and charging the defibrillator. The defibrillator however administered a volt, which was overkill on the amount of electricity, causing his heart to become a pepperoni hot pocket. Cause of Negligence. The Windu family, wife Whip Windu and both sons Sword and Shield Windu are suing for damages.

I actually really liked Mace Windu. I hope there will be a canon story where Mace Windu survived the fall and went into hiding just like Obi-Wan.
