My left signal was hyper blinking, my right signal was blinking normally, but had a fried socket. Could the fried right cause hyper blinking on the left?

Before I watch [trust me] it's a fault in the wiring or bulb. When my car had this after a minor repair, I dug deep in my brain and... yup - they never reconnected the headlight harness. Off to watch!
