Great. The problem is the turn signal switch has not been explained how it separates turn signal from braking.

So a bad turn signal switch can cause you not to have brake lights ? I'm asking because I can not figure out why my brake lights will not work . I have put new bulbs, fuses, and a brake light switch

I have replaced all fuses, brake switch and bulbs, still no brake lights!!

Good walk-through. I have a peculiar problem with my car. The brake lights do not turn on. I have checked the continuity on the brake switch and it is looking good. But the brake lights still do not work. Fuse, bulbs are also good/replaced. One thing I saw was that the switch when connected to the coupler is getting heated up. What could be the issue? Should I replace the switch?

All my tail lights work...but when I press the brakes only the third (brake)light comes on...and if I use my turn signals only front ones work...but they all work when I use hazzards??...is this caused by a bad turn signal switch??..

Does anybody know this or has experience this I have the signal switch with the clamp on the columm after hooking up the wires for the lights only four and the electronic relay I'm only left with one red wire on the signal switch picture on box shows to hook that wire on to the brake light switch and for the other terminal a hot wire im.confused I can hook up that orange wire from fuse to the brake switch but then what where would that white brake switch wire go

95 chevy silverado. When I have hazard lights on and step on the break pedal they stop blinking and stay on, even the front ones, doesn't happen when I turn to any direction though

Can some one please help my!
I have problem I have old based opel gm Ascona from the 80s.
When I aplly blinker on the right side my tail light and blinker work together .
When I put key of the engin self restarts when blinkers are turned on I get electrical shock from chassis and my engin some times when the metalic air filter is on carburetor it is self acelerating!
How do I bypass this problem?
I did change the back lights with newr version of that same car I dont see any diference of those bulb holders they are identical and old and new bulb holder fit bouth.
The wires position is same just like on the old bulb holder.
Can some one please help my?
Is that back charging relay problem?
The engin wont turn of when head lights work and blinkers.

My voltage on baterry is around 15v and its climing rapidly.

Aperantly my trothel cabel going to carburetor is contracting some how by him self I noticed when its close to ground chassis hes pulling trothel flap by him self thats unusual fenomana I have no idea what causes it?
Other than that engin seam to run smuther more responsive .
Hell if I know why hes doing that??
Is this some form of relay ignition system?
Because Im confused how to ceap that nice smuth power and have still working blinkers and tail light .

I have a 2006 gmc 2500, and when i have my turn signal on in either direction, once i push the brakes, the signal sequence changes on the tail lights and flashes opposite of the front. The signal markers in my towing mirrors flash the same as the front of the truck, but both are opposite of the tail lights, again only when braking. All lights are LED, and i have an LED flasher module, and i do not have hyper flash. I have replaced the tail light junction box and inspected the grounds. I have purchased multiple sets of led tail lights to try and rule out a defective set. Any ideas of what the issue may be?
