The one question I always have about ElementaryOS:

Why do they not include the file manager in the dock by default? It is very very strange to me.

I'd recommend reading the OS docs... most of the question marks raised in this video are answered in the introductory docs.
Also, can sync with Firefox natively within epiphany, plugins are supported but not chrome extensions. Page can be installed as web apps - very useful for sources like Flathub, cloud services etc. Unfortunately no DRM support for Netflix. Switch to Firefox for that.
Add flash support from the store.
Once you download one app from a new source like Flathub, other apps from the same source automagically appear in future searches of the App Store and are installed using Sideload.
Some apps look Spartan until you actually start using them and features contextually emerge.
Good OS on an old kernel, but there's a GUI for that too and its running on kernal 5.8.3 fine.
Calendar and mail integrate with Gmail but not OneDrive....
I could go on but yeah, get on and play with it more a few days.
Dark apps like photos are because the neutral grey assists eye fatigue prevention and more natural colour perception while editing.

Cons: quiet laptop audio, system hangs on the default kernel, progress bars freeze often even though tasks usually continue... needs just a little spit and polish under the hood.

Love it overall.

Geared toward MAC users. If you come from Windows, this is one of the more confusing editions of Linux, far harder than Xubuntu or Linux Mint.

I distro-hopped for about 3 months and 8 different distros. I used elementary OS for about a month and it's not ready yet for what I would use as my daily driver on my laptop. For now, Pop!_OS is the best one for me, for a variety of reasons. The only thing that bothers me about is GNOME, which is beautiful, but also its performance is utter garbage. Great video, thanks!

I think elementaryos works better for mac users that are starting to use linux, probably cinnamon mint would be better for most window users that are just entering linux

Just FYI, Epiphany is actually part of the GNOME Project. And why would you want Flash support? At the time of this video it was 7 months away from officially being killed by Adobe.
