I just realised a few days ago: Stan's flaw was letting his heart overrule his head; Ford's flaw was letting his head overrule his heart.

Fun fact: According to Bill, Stan’s burn scar means “watch your step”

I never appreciated "I got a mullet Stanford" until I realized I was too poor to afford a haircut.

The “I just got him back, I can’t lose him again.” Actually made me cry, I know exactly how that feels.

Oh man, I just realize that they could make a spin off about Stanford's 30 years journey in the other dimension, if that happens, I'll watch the heck out of it.

This situation is heartbreaking, and a brilliant illustration of sibling dynamics. Stanford can only trust his brother to hide this journal to prevent the end of the world, and thinks he’s being a selfish jerk. Stanley just wants to reconnect with his twin, and he thinks he’s being told to take a hike. Shakespeare would love this sort of tragic miscommunication.

i feel bad for Stanley most, he didn't even get a chance to explain what happened. his entire family and his hometown hated him.

I love how this show has actual legitimate responses to things. Like the way Ford quickly jumps to apologizing and checking to see if Stan was okay and how Stan just got more pissed because that's a natural response to pain especially in a fight. I swear I've seen so many shows where it would've led to a make up. I love this show and how realistic it is

Wait, so this means that after Stanley faked his death, the whole time, even his own sister thought that Stanley was dead. That's some dark shit

so lets say that they were 18 when they parted as teens, then they didn't see each other after 10 years to then they are now 28 years old, Stanford was gone for 30 years so that means Stanley and Stanford are about 58 years old.

I can’t blame Ford for wanting an identity and life outside of being Stanley’s twin brother. But Stanley didn’t deserve to be abandoned by his family. It’s such a sad story all around.

You know, looking back Stanfords argument doesn't hold as much weight as it used to.

Was losing his dream school a major blow of. However, think about it, it's not like it really stopped him. He still earned like 12 doctorates, graduated earlier than any normal person could, got an ass ton of money to study the stuff he wanted and probably made enough discoveries and inventions that just from the patents alone he'd be the richest man on the planet. Not even counting the number of awards he'd win, I mean the guy built an interdimensional portal for crying out loud.

Meanwhile Stanley, because his dad booted him out, basically became a giant wreck. Being banned in numerous states, getting arrested, having no money, no family or friends and basically being everything his family thought he would be in the end.

Does Ford have some justification to be mad yes, but of the two of them Stanley definitely has the high ground here.

1:42 Stanley: You left me behind you jerk. It was supposed to be us forever. You ruined my life!
Stanford: You ruined your own life.
The story of 2 brothers.

I kinda agree with stanley I mean, seriously ruining dream college is bad but Stanley's problems are worse

This show was honestly the best thing to happen to Disney XD

Who had it worse? Stanford was haunted by a dream demon, made his friend go nuts and was on the verge of insanity
Stanley was abandoned by everybody he knew, he was basically homeless and he was constantly breaking the law just to repay his family for something he didn't mean to do

This scene. Whenever I see it, it always makes me upset. Ford and Stan are both my favorite characters, and it feels like a punch in the gut seeing this. I can't just pick a side, because it's not an, "Oh! One's wrong, one's right!" type thing. Neither one of them is right nor wrong. They both have reasons to be upset at each other. They both made mistakes. I agree and disagree with both of them to certain extents. I just sit in the middle. I'm not fully on Stan's side, nor am I on Ford's. It's just one of those things where you can't choose.
