You can see “corrective” baptism as far back as before the great schism. In the papal bull of excommunication Cardinal Humbert complains about the Greek Orthodox baptizing the Latin Catholics. The Orthodox were corrective baptizing many of the westerns I heard it’s because the western Catholics weren’t using the right form

There are many Orthodox Churches (in communion with y'all) that recognize Trinitarian baptism from different denominations. Not saying whether it is right or wrong, but it is common in Eastern Orthodoxy. Really depends which parish you go to.

So. If im not mistaken.. I went officially out of RCC. But on the paper is written that baptism is stil valid (in case i want to return to rcc). So i want to be orthodox. Will i got chrismation and also baptism right? thank you for your answer :)

If, God willing, I complete my conversion to Holy Orthodoxy through ROCOR, should I seek baptism?

I believe I should as I was baptized as a Pentacostal before converting to Roman Catholicism.

I've been going to an orthodox church. I asked the Father how do I join. He leaned his head on the door and said "just keep coming" Its been over 2 months now with no word as to whats next. Meanwhile im learning nothing. Trying to keep up with the book they have for liturgy. Ive done research and watched debates and i definitely dont believe in the catholic doctrine. I want to learn what im expected to do. I want to learn of the orthodox way. I feel like I've been left in limbo with no direction. 😢 edit to add he did give me a book to read. A basic guide to eastern Orthodox theology by Eve Tibbs. Interesting but it doesnt help with learning to follow Jesus correctly.
