Worst sunburn I’ve ever seen!

In many countries, the medication container will contain a warning as well.
Usually, there's a line of symbols and words that are easy to spot after the pharmacist shows you one as an example.

Me too. I already commented about it. But yes I take a medication that warns you about it’s reaction with sun. I did not think swimming in the sun for a few minutes would make my face swell up. Even my eyelids where swollen. I stay far away from direct sunlight now! I grew up in California, playing outside all day and never had a reaction like that. Just with this medication. 😢

Oh yeah. I didn’t take that seriously. I’ve never had a burn that bad and as a kid blatantly refused sunscreen, using every trick in the book to gaslight my mom so I would be the color of my deck flooring…then in college I would go tanning. My derm is the mom of a classmate of mine and knows my mom and totally snitched on the tanning bed thing. So after a few years I returned to my natural white person color.

Cellulite in my family is definitely genetic and starts early but I clearly hastened the huge amounts I have now with the tanning (ironically used to hide cellulite), have had some moles removed just in case so far, and now burn pretty easily. Never like this, but enough to make me feel like I had the flu for a day or so.

I just figured since I never once remembered a sun burn as a kid it meant my skin would just naturally tan. So I didn’t take it seriously. Oh boy.

I was on isotrerinoin (accutane) for a little over a year, and I was bathing myself in 50+ sunscreen and would still feel my skin burn in the sun.
Before and after that, I would never get sunburned in my life and tan really easily.

But seriously, I’m kinda glad I live where the UV index is 0-1 midday
