Inhale 4 Exhale 6 - Calm Breathing Technique | HMFYOGA
This is a really simple calming breathing technique which can be used anytime of the day to help combat stress, anxiety or maybe when you just need to find some mental focus or clarity. This breathing technique will take just under 3 minutes out of your day and can have a huge impact on stress levels and mood.
For this calming breathing technique we inhale through the nose for a count of 4 and exhale through the mouth for a count of 6. We do this for a round of 10 times together.
I find getting into a comfortable position first helps with this, so either laying down or sitting in a comfortable position. Close the eyes or rest the gaze onto one point.
