This does absolutely nothing to solve the scrolling problem in Chrome. The problem is with Chrome, not with Windows settings, and Chrome has absolutely no interest whatsoever in making changes within their browser to fix it.

I got to the buttons part and tried to adjust the speed but it went all the way to the highest speed and now it's stuck there. My computer is screwed.

Switching from 3 to 7 did not solve this for me. It ended up being some debris in the wheel area.

Chrome has numerous problems. Cannot scroll, scroll bars missing, tick boxes not showing, memort leaks ... and more. Why should I waste time trying to fix them? They are browser problems. It should not be so fussy about how my machine is configured and it shoudl ship with workable defaults in its own configuration. It is not as if Google does not have the resources to fix Chrome's problems. Google obviously has some very capable programmers (think Google maps). I just switch to Firefox which has none of these problems. It just works (as Apple computers used to before Apple started dumbing down MacOs). The only way Chrome is better is in its ability to translate web pages.
