Why were Trandoshan Jedi so rare in the galaxy? The species was naturally more inclined towards aggression, fury, and rage. While it was possible to overcome those base urges, most Trandoshans happily gave into them, becoming known as a people who would kidnap and hunt other sentient beings. That’s not the kind of culture that leads to a life of peace and balance. We’ve seen that it was possible in The High Republic thanks to the Jedi Master Sskeer. But even he struggled with his inner darkness, and was diagnosed with a disease called Magrak Syndrome, which caused his brain to give itself over to his aggression. He was able to fight it, but the effort left him struggling to connect with the Force as he normally could.

Having an entire species that is just hyper aggressive, it’s just weird
Kinda sounds like racism (or speciesism)

But tbh all of Star Wars is super black and white like that, there’s good and bad p much, not many neutral people
