Rocco, you have lots of offgassing grime on the inside of your windshield. Put some 70% isopropyl alcohol (50% diluted with water) in a spray bottle and wipe down the windshield--then come back and buff with a fresh cloth and it'll be a lot clearer!

Assertive mode will make a BIG difference with speed control. It drives much more like humans expect you to drive (Thus safer, actually). I noticed that Chill mode is clearly sluggish/docile, and tends to piss off other drivers.

Nice job Rocco, remember you can use voice commands to just about anything.. Set Fan Speed, Defrost windows, etc..⚡️

Full sun blinding front cameras....I'd probably have problems too....although it kept driving safely with all the alarms. Interesting.

I think the car slowing down for the pedestrian walking the dog was fine. His trajectory was going straight into the road. If he had been facing a different direction I'd suspect the car wouldn't have hesitated.

Exciting! Thanks. A lot of reviews on X about phantom braking and slow driving as well. I wonder if they will wait for 12.5.1.6 for wider release.

By the way Rocco, the modes have a big impact on speed for these newer versions. Even with throttle overrides, if you’re in the most aggressive mode it will stay at the speed you leave it with the throttle.

😎🤙
Yeah, bumpping it up to speed is about the most common interaction I have on HW4.

I’m on 12.4.3, still no update yet. Fingers crossed

Thnk about using voice command to defrost. My wife found that voice commands prevent her from having to touch the screen (or get confused when they change the screen) for climate control, and wipers.

I am pumped to get it! I’m on HW3 as well

I wouldn't call the middle taps of accelerator interventions, just cautious driving. Unless it actually stopped and crawled forward at the roadworks

You are totally right about the navigation speed needing updates, but something else is an issue. My residential street is 25 mph and dependent on the direction I enter the street car displays limit as 25, of 35 or 45 mph. This has been the case for over 3 years.
I am still looking forward to trying FSD 12.5.1.5

Kinda disappointing at 11:00, thanks for the quick video Rocco.

Thanks for the video. I have HW3 with 12.4.3. FSD travels below the speed limit frequently or leave a huge gap to the car in front. It wasn’t like that in 12.3.

It is amazing. I’ve been not driving for the past three weeks. 😂 only annoying thing is most of the time it goes below the speed limit even though you have your max speed let’s say 10 miles above the speed limit.

Rocco - Wonder if "Defrost on" voice command would have worked?
