While it's true that self-driving, fully autonomous cars might still be many years away from actually making it to market, the active driving assistance systems available today are an important advancement in making driving easier and less stressful. But not all of these systems perform equally. Find out which systems are the best (and worst) according to our rigorous testing of over a dozen systems like Tesla's Autopilot, GM's Super Cruise, and Ford's BlueCruise.

Could you list all the systems you tested even if you cannot easily rank all of them. Perhaps on a spreadsheet or table list each system's likes and dislikes.

Lol the element they chose to rank are kinda exactly the contrary of what most people want .
I think having to not have to get your hand all the time or to not have to look at the road every second is exactly why customer buy such options ! I guess we need to buy cars 10th and below

This analysis completely contradicts their previous analyzes of these systems where Hyundai and Kia were in the top. Granted, some of these other systems have advanced since then, but there's no way they dropped to the bottom of the list

we have a genesis gv70 and we have to turn off the lane centering and only keep active cruise on. the lane centering is horrible even on a clear sunny day - lame

I don’t know what model Kia you tested but my EV6 stays dead center and not once have I seen it ping pong. As for the system disengaging if you don’t respond, that’s how they’re supposed to work.

Has anything changed since you published this? Specifically, has HKG corrected their critical problems?

CR is full of BS. Ford shills. I tested the Hyundai/Kia system in a rental Sonata on a 22 hour drive across half the county. It centered very well. Better than the Rav4 rental I had. Did they play with the LKA sensitivity settings in the menu?

If CR said the sun has risen, go out and check for your self.

Useless video. Like CRs car reviews. Go check out Mercedes vs Tesla FSD that just came out by Whole Mars Catalog, if you want something that is real testing.

It doesn’t seem to me that coming to a stop in the lane of an interstate is a good idea. The Supercruise should work to the shoulder of the road before stopping.

How many other auto makers have systems that allow for city driving? My Tesla on version 11.4.9 does remarkably well albeit still a little ways to go in terms of “human like” experience.

Can you wear sunglasses while using either supercruise or bluecruise? Can't imagine the eye tracking works very well when you're wearing dark or mirrored lenses.

this video is pretty dated after only a year there has been a ton of updates across the board.

A Tesla just autonomousy delivered an incapacitated driver suffering a stroke behind the wheel to the emergency room through city streets. Lets see the others do that.

This result is surprising to me. I just drove 2024 Hyundai Sonata N-line and its lane centering was incredible. In contrast, 2022 Mazda CX-30 turbo premium plus I owned had a completely useless lane centering. Ford came the best is genuinely surprising

I was shocked by Number 1. I believe you and everything, I just thought 1 & 2 would logically be flipped. guess I was wrong.

My 2019 Equinox adaptive cruise was much better and never once phantom braked on me.
