Love content like this! So much easier to learn when you see the instructor break it down while a newbie is learning it

My 10yo son worked in this last winter on his 110. After a couple days he was able to do this and kickstart his bike at the same time. It does not take much but it just takes the time to start and try. Thanks for the great lessons and tips to make us all better!!!

I really like that breakdancing is being incorporated into the teaching of motorcycle skills.

Thanks a million for this video. I've tried mastering the static balance but never was able to but with the tips in this video I'm getting the hang of it!

Man Rich, you are all kinds of help!! I'm watching your series but still practicing on the static track stand. It is harder than it looks!! Thanks for the tip on digging out a little hole.

Rich Larson has been very helpful with his video's. Now I know why his next instructional hasn't come out yet because he was working on this with Rocky Mountain. 😆

Thanks. I was naturally spreading my legs occasionally while riding slow in the dirt and wondered if that was okay.

Rich, when you first mention to turn the bars into the direction you are falling... Do you mean to apply pressure to the bars without moving them?, or do you mean to actually move the bars?

I think Charles tried to ask a similar question but I think you inadvertently answered a different question.

So I just went out in the dark practicing my balance with this technique. I have a 300+lb crf250L dual sport. Will it naturally be harder the heavier the bike gets? Also, I seem to be more comfortable starting with the opposite leg as the video. Is there a reason to start standing with the “outside” leg?

This is definitely a drill I need more practice with. Thanks for the lesson!
