A cool thing I learned is that while we used to use mercury vapor bulbs in the United States as well, in the 70s and 80s we switched to high-pressure sodium bulbs, which give off a warm yellow light. There are some HPS-looking bulbs in Midgar as well, most notably in the highway tunnel at the entrance of Upper Sector 7. I know too much about lightbulbs now! Any lampheads out there?

I think Simone should be allowed to make as many architecture videos as she wants

Good to see that Simone is putting her architectural degree, which she earned in her first video about architecture, to good use.

These videos genuinely inspire me to work on my own architecture in my stories, they encourage me to get more out there with my designs and have caused some of my most inspired architecture designs.
Thanks, Simone.

"We're used to lights coming from above, like Mister Sun" made my morning. That little bit was just so delightful :)

Just wow. Much like in the real world: I never paid much attention to the architecture in the remake. Thank you SO MUCH Simone for highlighting yet another area where this game is bursting with love and thoughtfullness. I love having a new thing to love about this game!

Polygon is still being Polygon, and I love them dearly for it. Please never stop making videos about architecture and pro wrestling secretly being everywhere in games.

I absolutely love when people just talk about random shit they're passionate about, like architecture. This video was such a treat.
