The point is that you do take identical photos to everyone and post them with the hashtag then the coastal hydrographers can track changes in the morphology of the coast - cool example of citizen science that's being used all over Europe now 🙂

It’s been a few years since I joined your channel and your adventure. I subscribed because YOU SAIL and show it. I loved your technical trip up the river in New York and thoroughly lived vicariously your crossing the Atlantic. I’m amazed at your drive, love of life and each other. I have subbed to a few other sailing channels, however I’m not into the couples with kids so I don’t watch those channels much. No hate on them it’s just past my lot in life. I prefer couples and or solo sailors. I appreciate Dan’s methodical very skilled hand craftsmanship. Maybe you don’t show all the little defects when you make your boat your home but I don’t see many defects in your workmanship because it is your home. So much excellence in your channel. Best thing about electric sailing is there is no fuel smell or noise plus you are renewing your electric. So much new technology you will create the close to perfect boat! It's so like being there I complement you both.

10:02 Fun fact: The air is breaking the suns light depending on how dense the air is. Because the air is less dense the higher you go, the lights path through the atmosphere is actually bent. That also means, that where you see the sun is not where it actually is. At sunrise and sunset this effect is so strong (because the light has to travel through more air), that when the bottom part of the "observed" sun is touching the horizon, the "real" sun is actually already completely below it.
