For anyone interested in getting into trailing and crawling you should try the RGT 136161. It has a 370 motor with gear reduction. a 3S capable Hobbywing ESC, Dumbo RC transmitter/receiver and lights controller for only 100€. with a few free mods it is also a very capable crawler.

I just ordered my first hobby grade car an hour ago, then this video popped up.
I have had a couple of toy grade in the past.
My new car is a JBL Cheetah (upgraded)

beyondRC, so appreciative of the fact that you listened to my questions on your last video and have done a video tackling item no 3 on the RC video suggestions I made. - Cool Lad!

1. Best 1/18th scale RC cars to buy.
2. Beat 1/16th scale RC cars to buy.
3. Best entry level no-name brand RC Car’s a beginner can buy.
4. Terminologies and naming convention of RC Cars; RTR, Buggy, Truggy, Brushless, etc?

I think the HBX 16889A Pro is better deal when on sale vs the MJX Hyper GO.I don't think someone will care about a "smart stuff" and a gps on a model of that scale it, only makes the model cost more $$$.They should made this optional and put brushless system and maybe then it can compete with the HBX models. And none tested it for a longer time hard bashing it to see how is the durability and the plastic quality of the MJX parts. You should do brushless conversion and maybe put better tires on the MJX to see how it performs then since a lot of people will be interested in this i guess since the efficiency of the brushless is superb compared to the brushed and also we gonna see what options we have if we get one and want to convert it, and give it hard bash.

one to add to the list - HBX 2188a, the gyro is flawless for power slides

I bought an FTX Tracer to my six year old daughter. I think that's a good one too. 🙂 I haven't tried out any in this video though.

So many good budget trucks out there anymore it must have been a challenge to narrow it down to only 5 but I think you did a good job of it, Cheers Ricky.

Tried many but nothing gets close to the reliability and fun factor of the 16889. Liked the brushed version so much that already ordered the brushless version pro. Even stock brushed with aftermarket oil shocks and a simple 20c 1600mah 2s lipo becomes a little beast. After 6 months, only the shell has a small hole and a suspension arm loose a nuckle (repaired with a piece of plastic!) for those like me that love rc cars but don't want to spend too much time on repairs and mainly not spend hundreds on batteries, parts and topend brand cars, this 1/16 is amazing and can be transported anywhere in a backpack!

I don't need something fast, i sometimes think i prefer a crawler but also think I might need a bit faster/durable RC, I'm a total noob and DO not want to mod anything, just out the box for me. Will run it in the grass & Sand just for fun with my 10 year old daughter, hence why I don't need something i can't control, any thoughts? Not looking to spend more than $250
One more question, don't they male the older RC remotes I grew up on, i don't think the new ones are comfortable for me to handle.

The 9155 hosim is best budget car it runs 4s 16.9 volts as often as u want and barely gets warm.... its 59 bucks strait from hosim on ebay right now.... 37 mph on 3s and 48mph on 4s... just like the 9125 only the 9155 is more stable and controls better

I'm getting in RC, more of a heavy equipment, off-road, & truck guy. I got a CAT 336, and D7E so-far with a DISGUSTING Walmart Gladiator (cant even finish building it). Got thoughts on cars pertaining to let's say, somethin' fun that's like a truck for off-road, and with plenty of 3rd party mods, etc? Budget is not really an issue until 150usd, and is a problem above 210usd.

I know I have said this in other videos of yours, but you got to add the Axial scx24 platform to this list. So many mods and upgrades to make them your own. Ive had the c-10 for some time and have some upgrades and I just picked up the hard body Bronco with some upgrades coming in the mail.
