Thanks for sharing your video yes my toyota i always changes oil every 4 to 5 thousand kilometers not miles because i lived in Canada i used to owned different brands of cars companies but now I stick with toyota a lot of people complaining about 2.4 litre 4 cylinders about oil sludge and the 3. 0 litre now i owned a 2009 matrix 2.4 and 1998 camry v6 i don't have any problems with oil sludge because i always changes oil every 4 to 5 thousands kilometers and 2 years ago I bought a venza hybrid I'm very happy with it thanks again take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

I also did the break in oil change on my 2022 RAV4 hybrid. And plan on staying with 6 mo change. As per Car Care Nut. Many years ago when I got my first car the sales guy told me the most important maintenance is regular oil change and I have. My last car was a 2008 and never had any problem, just routine maintenance. Was still running strong when I traded in.

Since I started to work from home, I've been doing a lot of short trips with my 2021 Rav4. In order to avoid unnecessary wear to its engine, I change the oil and filter every 3000 miles.

I agree 100% and did same on my 2023 Lexus ES300h, Ultra Luxury trim at 1, 000 miles and again at 6, 000 miles. I also change the poil & filter on our vehicles every 5, 000 miles or six-months, whichever occurs first.

Why, well just watch "The Motor Oil Geek" on YouTube and his discussion about why you change the oil & filter in the first 1, 000 miles on any new car and at about 5, 000 miles thereafter. You will see why and as Scotty and The Car Care Nut say, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL

My initial oil change I did at a little OVER 1K miles and then at 5K mark. Then every 5K miles/ 6 months from then on.

I change at 3-5k km, engine is absolutely clear. It is cheaper to change oil that repair it. My toyota is 17 years old and i am not going to buy new yet

I use Schaffers motor oil additive. I have a lawn mower that I bought in 2000, got to using oil pretty bad. After the treatment it stopped using an excessive amount of oil. It uses Moly which coats the wear points in the engine. Making them last longer. Have a 2003 Silverado over 3, 00, 000 miles uses no oil .

Totally agree.. I have built motors and the first 500 are the most important. Oils cheap.

I have a 2023 rav4 hybrid..i did the first oil change at 1500 km and plan to change it every 6 months or 6000 km. Beautiful vehicle..will last a long time if taken care

Doing my RAV4 prime today. 700 break in mile in the gas engine. So I used 15 gallons of gas that is how I know. They don’t have an engine timer on them

With you 100%. I took my 2019 Rav4 in at 2500 miles for it's first, and supposedly free, oil change and the dealer told me he couldn't do it for free until 10, 000 miles. That was the last time my car graced his lot.

I would wait till 1000 miles before the 1st oil change. 1500 if it's the hybrid. Engine run time is a lot less.

Great video. I believe, 10K free dealer oil changes ruined my 2018 RAV-4 SE.
