How to Fix Microphone Not Working Windows 10 (5 Easy Steps and More!)

Do you want to know how to fix your microphone not working on your windows 10 computer??? In this video, I will show you how to fix your mic with 5 easy steps and more! Plus, I will show you how to test your microphone to see if it is working. Make sure your apps do have permission to use your mic on your computer otherwise it won't work! Like with skype! If Skype doesn't have permission, your mic won't work!

Also, make sure all microphone drivers are update! Like the Realtek audio drivers! If your mic or headset or speakers don't show up under device manager, scan for new hardware. If they still don't show up, there could be a connection issue with your computer and the device. Plug the device into a different audio port or usb port.

I was sooo skeptical as nothing had worked before. I just sat slumped after DAYS of trying to fix my 3 mics. All three were working just fine days ago and then suddenly, after finishing a facebook chat, they all stopped working ONLY on virtual chat and chrome sites like zoom, voice recorders online, etc. The mics still worked on my laptop voice reorder so I knew it wasn't a hardware issue.

I tried the literal first step of going to the settings and turning "allow desktop apps to access your microphone" and they all suddenly could use the mic! I never even knew this place existed! Why would the computer change this setting! Is this a normal thing to happen? I almost threw my mics away thinking they were the cause somehow.
