It will also work if your mic is not showing up on your windows 10 pc or laptop in settings and other applications.

This fix contains all possible solutions to solving this problem with your microphone on Windows 10. Moreover, this fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your mic running again but if this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Yeah, great, except this entire video is in response to literally a different problem from the one in the title. The title of the video is "How to Fix Microphone NOT SHOWING UP" and every solution offered here involves finding the microphone in a list of options in one of the Windows settings menus. Forgive me do, but if the microphone is not showing up, you can't do any of this because it's not going to be among the list of choices. You're in good company with this, as every video I've watched so far says exactly the same thing, but it's still pretty annoying. "Oh, your microphone isn't showing up? I can help! First go to the device manager and find the microphone in the list of choices!"
