Spider-Verse Theory: Can Miles & Gwen Be Together?

Do you think it’s possible for Miles and Gwen to be together? I mean there’s clearly something going on between them! Even though Miles is from Earth-1610 and Gwen is from Earth-65, they had this instant chemistry and understanding about each other. They are somehow connected, but will that be enough or will their feelings lead them to tragedy?

The Gwen hatred blows my mind, she fucked up she knows she fucked up now all she wants to do is fix it and save the man she loves. This is what we call a character arc and hers was incredible to watch.

If they do get together it’ll be such a triumph for Gwen Stacy as a character. She’s always been the Spider-Man franchise’s tragic girl who rarely gets happy endings, so I’m hoping this will finally be it for her.

I think it’s definitely possible for Miles and Gwen to end up together and I really hope it happens. Even Lord & Miller recently said that they’re aiming to make Beyond the Spider-Verse a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy so it wouldn’t make sense if their relationship ended in tragedy or on bittersweet terms.

I truly believe that they will definitely be together. I know that right after ATSV there is a rough patch but Miles will forgive Gwen eventually and I think that Gwen just needs to pour her heart out to Miles and tell him everything. That was generally what held her back - not being able to express feelings at some points.

I think she was already in love at the end of ATSV and in some part of the beginning. All she needs to do is tell Miles everything and that she loves him and wants to be with him.

Them being together would make this Trilogy one of the best love stories out there. I trust that Lord and Miller all know what the audience wants and I speak for most when I say mainly everyone wants them together.

Both Gwen's and Miles' character arc continue to develop in their own way: Miles will never let anyone decide who he will be, and Gwen stops being the protector of the people she loves. According to the analysis, Gwen now takes Miles as a role model and begins to enter stage 3 - synthesizing responsibility and love, which means she can both fulfill her duty as a spiderman and 'loves' people she loves the most, so it could be possible that the heartbreaking nature of Miles and Gwen can be changed (which the whole movie is about defining fate). It would be wonderful and perfect if they end up together, and I'm very curious to see how the writers will handle that.

In the next movie I really hope both of them reconcile in some way possible: Gwen and Miles really love each other, even though they are both from different dimensions. It is obvious that they both like each other and even all the characters notice it. Also, I don't think it's such an impossible love: it's incredible that Gwen's spider sense in the first movie took her to the Visions Academy where she met Miles and then in the second movie it warns her when he is in danger in the wrong dimension. They are like soulmates. Also, I don't think there is any "canon event" as to how she would die if she fell in love with Miles, as Miles said: "there is always a first time for everything."

It seems very possible for Gwen and Miles to be together, since the connection that they have seems so strong, their destiny's seem like they're somehow alterd from the cannon events that take place throughout the multiverse.
I can't really explain how, but it just seems very possible.

Your one of the first channels to point out they have a special connection through different dimensions (which is how she was able to sense he was in a different dimension at the end of the movie) these two have something real special and definitely need to be together in the next one

Did you notice Gwen’s head movement and slight hesitation as she’s telling miles he’s the only friend she’s ever made since Peter? Followed by her basically saying what she means with her Gwen Stacy in every universe comment? I think she was telling miles he was different because she had fallen in love with him or was just about to get there.

Think about it - 1. she opens up only to miles and sees him as her escape to the darkness she’s had in her life. She’s got a whole society filled with spiderman and yet she tells miles “how many people can you talk to about this stuff?”, after telling miles it’s always so great to talk to him. Even though she hadn’t interacted with him in almost 2 years. 2. She’s got a buddy named hobie who she even was crashing with, and yet she says she doesn’t consider hobie a friend. 3. She gets jealous when miles talks to spider byte. 4. She starts to cry when miles throws her comment at her, thinking she was doing him dirty with the whole dad dying thing. 5. She fights hard for miles after he escapes to a point where she completely sides with him and gets herself kicked out. 6. She tries to use the watch again but only to go to Miles’ dimension, only to get super angry when she learns she could no longer use her watch. 7. She speaks with miles’ parents, assures the father it isn’t his fault miles is missing but hers aka taking responsibility for her actions, expresses how miles has changed her mindset and the effect he’s had on her, and promises to look for him and even deliver a message from his mom. 8. She assembles a team just to find and save miles.

Sorry for the long comment but, it’s clear that Gwen loves miles. It’s clear he’s not just some friend. Heck, she probably even recognizes that they have a bond that goes further than mere feelings and she will probably mention this to him in the next film. She might even beg for his forgiveness and fight for him until he forgives her.

They will be together but Miles will snap at her for keeping secrets from him. And out of Anger for knowing he wasn't meant to be Spider-Man and that she's the reason he realises about it because she saw him when she wasn't supposed to. Then after he let's that get out of his system and once against just except he IS Spider-Man. And he's the Anomily who can make stories better than what their supposed to be.

I believe that “canon events” can be overwritten without destroying reality, we saw that with Gwen’s dad, and we even saw it in Spider-Man no way home when Peter save the villains who were “destined to die”. So I agree with Miles when when he tells Gwen “there’s a first time for everything” because we can create our own destinies if we are willing to try. I don’t know why some of the other universes unraveled, but I don’t think it was because of “canon events” changing.

Thank you! Gwen only mentions that in every universe Gwen Stacy always falls for Spider-Man but the thing is that in every universe it was always with Peter not with Miles, so because of that I can see Gwen and Miles winding up together without breaking the Canon, if there is a Canon which I don't believe to exist to be honest

I’m expecting Madam Web to be involved in some facet regarding these continuity hiccups in the multiverse. The fact she hasn’t appeared given her role in the mythos only shows she’s got a big moment incoming, or, at least, that’s what I think. I have a hard time thinking it will end with Miles never getting to see his friends again.

Since Gwen is a spider person, I don’t think her dying after falling in love with Miles would be a "canon event". All the other Gwen's don't have superpowers and the duty of protecting their own world, I think that’s why they might die. I write "might" because after researching some theories about Miguel O'Hara and the "canon events" I actually can't believe they are that important, just not so sure if Miguel does know that or is being mislead.
