I also noticed that when Gwen’s father was confronting her in the beginning of the movie, you can see that the dad was coloured in blue and red, red most likely resembled him being a dad, and blue being a cop. The colours were split into two halves so it probably represents the internal conflict within him and the decision he had to make.

Miles being tied up to a punching bag is also a reference to into the spider verse where miles ties peter to the same bag asking him various questions. (Spider Punk is the goat as well)

Another thing is that the Miles we know was supposed to be the prowler with his Uncle, but because of the spider's universe change, this alters Miles's fate entirely, becoming spider man. This is shown in into the spider verse by his change in spider sense color from purple and green (prowler colors) to red and blue (spider man colors). Thus also causes him and the universe 42 Miles to swap roles.
