SPOT is Behind the Canon Events? | SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Theory... #shorts

So, here's this wild Spider-Verse theory that's been buzzing around, and it's got people wondering. You know, there's something fishy about these so-called "canon events." Like, how come every spider-person needs to be bitten by a spider, lose an Uncle Ben, and go through the whole Captain thing? But then we have Miguel's universe, where he's not bitten by a spider, and Miles 42's universe, where his Uncle Ben is alive – and nothing's collapsing? Something's off. Now, they introduced the Spot, that dude who can travel through space and then suddenly through different dimensions. And remember in Into the Spider-Verse when Gwen went back in time? So, what if the Spot can do time travel too? What if he went back and messed with Miguel's universe, telling him that messing with canon leads to big trouble? And maybe he's the one who messed with things when Miles saved Captain Singh. I mean, that big black hole thing? That's like the Spot's signature move, right? So, what if the Spot did all of this to make sure the Spider-society turns against Miles, stopping him from saving his dad? That's like his grand plan – taking away everything from Miles' life.

That's why Spot is the villain of the week. That is a good theory!

That’s some Reverse flash level pettiness right there

"Miles 42 universe where his uncle ben Is Alive." Miles has a uncle Ben!? Thats new 😂

I had the same thought that The Spot messed with the Indian Spiderman's dimension after Miles prevented this "canon event". It's literally a Spot Hole! That makes this theory a lot more plausible than what it seems

Bro tries to take everything from miles after being hit by a bagel

Edit: I Never Had A Comment That Aged THIS Well.

It’s a good theory and the part where spot goes back in time could be true but Miguel although he wasn’t bitten by a spider and his dna just got mixed up with one which turned him into his universes Spider-Man. Now just because “Uncle Ben” in Miles universe is still alive doesn’t mean that canon events aren’t not real…..he was Peters Uncle who in fact was dead. Miles did lose his uncle which was Uncle Aaron which insinuates the canon events because each spider man/woman has to lose someone close to them.

This would be one good explanation for Miguel's position as the antagonist. The Spot, with a potentially terrifying power, is basically just sidelined when Spider-Man 2099 shows up? In modern media? He's definitely more important than he seems

Miles LITERALLY says to Miguel’s face:

“That wasn’t me, that was the Spot.”

Miguel didn’t even acknowledge it, just diverted with “IT’S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE CANON.”

Don’t forget he brought the spider from Earth 42 to Miles’ dimension.

"It was me, Miles, I time travelled into Miguel's universe to make it collapse and so he'd eventually think your dad has to die! Not a villain of the week now, right?" - Spot in across the spiderverse probably

Bro got called villain of the week and got hit by a bagel and really said Nuh uh

I think it’s because once you’re Spiderman your universe just decides to throw canon events at you, which is why Uncle Arron is alive.

Only problem with this is if Spot has become powerful enough to literally destroy a universe in a black hole then why would he go through all this trouble? He could just destroy Miles’s world and kill everyone he cares about and not just his dad.

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking for awhile. It makes the most sense considering everything we’ve seen.

Of course there’s also the fact that the “captain” aka Miles’s dad died in Earth 42, and there was no universe shattering event or even anything to turn that Miles into Spider-Man.
So how does that work - the captain died in that universe with no Spider-Man… and now the captain in Miles’s normal universe has to die too? Doesn’t make sense. Something tells me that the captain dying on Earth 42 will “make up” for the event that kills the captain in Miles’s normal universe.

I always wondered why Miles' Dad is "supposed to die" if Miles wasn't originally supposed to be Spiderman in the first place

"I got a bagel for you, and you threw a bagel at me, "
"Spiderman, why'd you throw a bagel at that guy?"

That actually makes a lot of sense cause the other day i was wondering how he was able to master his powers so fast

Finally, someone pieced it together and made it make sense to me.
