Having failed sciences at school, in 2018 I took Biology GCSE, then Chemistry in 2022, Physics in 2023 and this year Maths.
At 70, I'm the oldest in rhe class but absolutely love it. The class is just one morning a week at a college in West London. An early 7.30am start, bus and two tubes, homework, revision and a mock exam next month, and loving every minute of it.
Another passion is gardening and since retirement I do thd garden at a local school which again means mixing with younger people, which I find is a real bonus. It's also a way of giving back, I taught for over 30 years and so know the pressures in schools and in this way I'm able to pay back the help I was given in the past.
I love dogs and look after one for and day a week which gets me out and about in fresh air and nature .

I am a 70yr old female, that had bilateral knee replacement. It was 16 months ago. I was despondent with everything still dealing with pain. I found me a new passion in learning a new language. I love every time I open the book and look forward to learning. Thank you, I always have notebook and pen when I watch your podcast.

I used to watch the history channel all the time as a child. After my life fell apart, I rediscovered my fascination with the Roman Empire, the wild west, native american culture, and Ancient Egypt. I then found a job at a museum part time and can confidently say that I love my job.

I can totally relate to this and at 61 I’m still doing all my childhood hobbies; ballet I started singing in a band 2 years ago I do Singo Bingo once a month for charity’s I sew every day I’m a reflexologist and I cook from scratch every day. I’m not showing off I’m just showing that in my mind and actions I can be looking forward all the time for ways of making my life exciting. My core values are kindness/empathy/joy and all my hobbies and work speak to me every day. I feel grateful for my good health. Love your great podcasts

I found a collection of pictures I colored from when I was 3 years old to around 8. I recently reconnected with coloring and painting. I color when I can, including after stressful meetings.

Today I'm going to buy water colors and crayons (my partner's suggestion). Cant wait for the store to open in an hour 🎉🎉

Thank you so much for this podcast!

Hello Dr. Chatterjee, I am 63 years young, originally from Quebec, Canada and I moved 8 weeks ago to Toronto. I am a subscriber to your channel.

There is so much you said in this video that I will write down when I watch it again after work.

I am a "seasoned" self-helper and have been for decades, however in the last few years, I have decided it was time to go deeper within myself to uncover my limited and conditioned beliefs.

Your video today has awoken this area in my life. Not enjoying certain things in my life, how to change my outlook, is there anything I can do to remedy these situations, and is travelling around the world (not realistic at all right now) really the solution that will give me the purpose and passion I am looking for?

And yet, in expressing this to you, I realize that I still have not figured out my "why, " EVER!

Who am I TRULY? What fills me up with happiness and joy, sometimes overflowing when I am with people, animals and in nature, that I can share and transmit goodness and even exuberance. What makes me tick?

There is so much more I can write, however the rest I will write in my journal later.

There is so much important information and advice you have given us here, the reason I will watch the video again.

I know I have heard this kind of message before from other speakers and I have read this in books as well. However, the way you transmitted your message was totally straight forward (to me) and easy to understand. It was the right time for the lightbulb to be switched on in my consciousness.

I am grateful. Thank you 🙏

For years, I've been an instructor at a community college. Helping people has been my passion; however, now it's time for a new but similar journey. My next steps are an accredited health and life coaching certification and starting my own coaching business. A woman, former student, 23 years ago said I would make a great coach. Well, here I am taking the next leap of faith this is the right path for me. :)

During COVID, I revisited my childhood love of tap dance and that was amazing. But I recently moved to another city and the dance classes near me are too expensive (single mom 2 jobs, no weekends) There is a fab zumba class in my gym to scratch that itch for now. I'm feeling blah and meaningless again as for the longest time, that inner voice tells me I need to start writing poems again (what I have done since childhood up until being a mom 18 years ago). I know I suck at it and it's all too cringy, but after your post Dr. Chatterjee, I know I have to start trying to write poems again anyway.

Horsebackriding was my passion and it saved me through my terrible childhood, i can't do it no more but it is nice to think about it.

What a wonderful talk! I have been applying some these things since April thanks to my best doctor neurologist Nevena who has inspired me to start changing my victim mindset to empower mindset! I can admit that now I'm feeling so much better than before. I can relate to everything that you have been talking. It is so true that good things start changing when you firmly decide to change! But the first thing is to, let's say, make a deal with yourself to start the change. Thank you so much because you, dr Rangan, and also your guests make me work on myself every day. Keep rocking dude.
