They don't listen so why even bother trying to tell them. They love to hear their own voice and they want control over everyone they have contact with. Some people in a relationship with them they'll find it hard to even think properly for themselves and then they might be stuck in the relationship until finally they've had enough. Narsaccist usually find an empathic person to get hold of so they can blame and use that person for their own advantage.
