I have to share this testimony from when I was like 7/8 years old. I used to suck my thumb. My mom and grandma hated it and would tell my teacher to make me stop if she caught it. No matter what they did they couldn’t get me to stop. And I wanted to stop! I remember my mom told me I should pray for help to stop sucking my thumb. So one night I did. Then right after my prayer I put my thumb in my mouth and curled up to go to sleep. My mom said “you just asked God to help you stop sucking you thumb but you’re gonna have to put in the work to help
Yourself stop. You didn’t ask God to MAKE you stop.” Well my childlike mind took that to mean that I should change my prayer to “Jehovah please MAKE me stop sucking my thumb”. From that moment to this one I haven’t had so much as the desire to suck any finger. I will always remember that. God was so kind to little old silly me and He took that desire with me having done very little work for it. lol. Now as an adult I know He CAN MAKE us do these things toe stop doing things but these large life altering areas does NEED our work to improve but I just will never forget what He did for baby me. ❤

Well she reeeead me 😂 God bless you. I had the worst binge last night and cried to God cause I didn’t listen to Him. He sent me like 20 videos about the spirit of gluttony and I kept ignoring each one. Today I made a meal plan and sticking to it to avoid under or overeating

Wowww I have been getting signs to fast for 3 days and literally videos were popping up on my YouTube feed and here it is 7 days into the month and I still haven’t because I made all of these excuses in my mind as to why. I have been extremely depressed, stressed and worrying bc I am a single mother of 4 and don’t have any help. I know that when I become obedient and listen to God I will get out of this depression. This video was just confirmation for me to just begin.

Galatians 5:24 spoke to me so much that I had to stop the video. I realized that Jesus literally showed us how to kill our flesh daily. He showed us the violence we have to inflict on the flesh in order to ascend and walk by the spirit. He showed us it wont be easy but it will be worth it. This really blessed me. Thank u 🙏🏽

This is so timely!! I was just thinking how I need to grow in the fruits of the Spirit and how I have an issue with gluttony. I will eat something and immediately want to eat something else. Crazy. But since I work out daily I think it’s not a big deal but it’s a problem. What a confirmation!

I definitely needed to see this I’ve been flirting with and kissing someone who is Muslim & I know I have to stray away from going further in that relationship since our beliefs don’t align however I end up giving in at times especially with our conversations this is confirmation that I should not continue to entertain it
