While the same functionality might not be something you want to apply to your projects, your videos help a lot to actually figure out other stuff as well. I find it especially interesting that with each code, you add a little explanation of what the final result is. That is incredibly useful, believe me! So many things that I want to do and I just dont know how to combine stuff to make it work, and boom...I find your channel and individual steps help me a lot for various stuff. Really thanks a lot for sharing your expertise, and please if you continue doing videos, keep adding those small sentences in white to clarify what the code you write is used for, as it has helped me a lot and I believe it will also help many others. when release build by exporting, it not work.
i'm guessing that the file suffix is hardcoded in the get_item method, but when exporting the project, the file suffix changes. Is there a way to fix this?

thank you, hope you make items with a certain number of uses, and once used up, they automatically disappear from the hotbar.
