The only reason I upgraded to the 16 pro from the 15 pro is because I wanted more battery. However, I didn’t kid myself into thinking it would be a huge upgrade.

i tell you what i've been using android and iphones forever and for some reason even though i've used a lot of nice androids including the s24 ultra something about iphones just pulls me back. I'm sure it happens to many of us i'm not the only one. Even though android has more features apple just gives you most of the stuff that you really need and use. Fluidity, a great camera for pics and videos and they really focus how the polish of the apps and animations and it just does the job in such a smooth way. So i am really happy with my 16 pro max.

I use both my s24 ultra and 14 pro max. I will be getting the 16 pro max because 1. My 14 has 256gb of storage and i need more storage and 2. I have some dead pixels on the screen and i dont have apple care. Plus i want the usb c and I can afford to upgrade my phones every 2 years.

I switched from a Samsung s23+ to the 16 pro max. Just a few notes for anyone considering making the change.

The difference isn't noticeable when it comes to performance or camera. I never used the new camera button. I do love that the phone is big and wide, makes watching youtube a little better. The face recognition doesn't work all the time, I preferred the fingerprint option on the s23. The battery upgrade is nice, my phone will be at 25% by the end of the night after heavy usage all day. The only reason I switched back was because my tec ecosystem is mostly apple products. I love their UI more and my family has mostly IPhones so it makes contacting them and sharing pics/vids easier. Oh, and I will probably never have use for apple intelligence, most of you probably wont.

All in all, the upgrade isnt worth it if your phone still works and you're not coming from something severely outdated. At the end of the day all smartphones look the same.

You brought up the 45 Watt charging speeds but test have shown that’s not true. It’s only up to 30 Watts. As a 15 Pro max owner it’s weird because this phone is phenomenal but it’s so overlooked. At first some had overheating issues with the original software it launched with. Which hurt the perspectives of the phone. Then the 16 just got released when Apple fixed the phone around 4 to 6 months after its release. So there are no real reasons to even upgrade for me. Especially when I’m getting Apple Intelligence as well as the 16 line. The top of the line stuff just doesn’t make sense anymore for the average person unless you some big time YouTuber. The selling points literally aren’t been brought up in the phone carriers you buy these phones through

see, I jumped from the 15 plus to the 16 pro max I felt like there were significant upgrades between the two, like increased base storage, pro-motion, titanium chassis (not that important but still nice), and that extra camera lens. But I think my only regret was getting the Pro Max instead of the Pro, I think the Max has become way too big for my liking.

Thanks for your honesty man. I did upgrade from the 15 pro max to the 16 pro max but I ended up returning the 16 pro max and just staying with the 15. I think the camera button isnt good at all and i see no use for it. I thought about switching to the pixel 9 pro xl but all my family and kids use apple so it makes it difficult.

And That's Why I Stopped Buying Apple I Realized it Back When the iPhone 4 then 4s came out I said here we go again Small upgrades to justify buying a whole new device after you purchase that new shiny iPhone I got a Bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
