It does not take hours. It CAN take hours if you choose to transfer from phone to phone. If you already backup your device on iCloud (like most people) then you can just choose cloud download which is done in a handful of minutes and your device is ready to use immediately. Love it when people choose to omit certain facts to paint a headline.

He’s talking shit, it doesn’t take hours to transfer anything. My 14 had nearly 100GB on it and it took maybe 15 minutes to transfer everything and setup my phone.

Takes hours to transfer? How much data was transferred exactly? Also, it's impossible to take that long when using a usb c cable. When wireless is slow, cable should be used
