The Best 4K TVs of 2018

The latest and greatest 2018 TVs have made their way to store shelves, which makes now a great time to pick up a killer new set. While some bring new tech, others are iterations on already-great models from 2017, offering a new feature here or there or maybe smart new design touches.

This means older models will see price drops, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore the new models. Any modern TV worth its salt offers basics like 4K resolution and eye-popping HDR, but that’s just the beginning. If anything, 2018 shows that feature-packed, brand-new TVs are becoming more affordable than ever before.

You'll be pleased to know that not all of them cost an arm and a leg, some cost a heart!

I am fortunate enough to own a 77” C8 and I absolutely love it! You can’t really go wrong with any of these display, you simply need to choose the tv that has more of the important features that matter to you. Gaming and HDR is my top priority, the C8 had the lowest input lag out of the OLEDs, it also has the best HDR performance and supports more formats so for me, it is the best display of 2018.

Sold my 6 month old 65" QLED, got the LG C8 65" OLED. I actually think the Sony A9F OLED is slightly slightly better than the C8 but here in Australia the LG sells for 1/2 the price of the Sony. OLED is gorgeous, just love it and the anti burn in logo dimming tech gives piece of mind.

Last week I went with the Vizio P Series for $799, with the extra cash I saved I invested in the Sonos Beam for $399 and two Sonos Play 1 speakers with the metal stands (from bestbuy which I don't recommend). Glad I got the TV, my last Vizio is over 11 years old and still going strong. But I am not a fan of the P Series remote. The signal isn't strong, I have to point it directly at a certain spot to register. Other than that no real complaints.

If you watch movies only then OLED is the way to go. BUT..If your a gamer or you watch channels that have the company logo always on screen then you want QLED or you'll eventually get burn in. I know I've been down the path of burn in with OLED. I like the increased versatility of being able to use my QLED TV as my PC desktop or play my games without having to worry about burn in. So it all comes down to what your priority's are.

I've been buying Panasonics since the 80's and never had a sinker in the bunch or needed any service. This last flat screen of theirs I've had for almost 10 years, Sad they're not available anymore, shopping for an upgrade.

That LG tv is only $6, 000 very realistic for college students.

I just got the Z9F yesterday and I love it. I returned the LG C8, this is better. More versatile and just as good picture.

I was really surprised that there were no Panasonic Tv's in this line-up until I remembered that they are not sold in the USA. You guys are really missing out because they have some great sets out at the moment.
