Still rocking my 49 in. Sony 900e for almost 2 years now and I still see no reason to upgrade. The picture quality and upscaling on this beast still makes my jaw drop and 4k movies look amazing on it!

Upgraded my 2 year old 55" X900E to a Panasonic GZ1000 OLED and it's amazing how much better it looks. I thought the X900E was the pinnacle of picture quality, but oh boy was I wrong. I can't even stand looking at any LED tv now.

Still loving our LG OLED E7. Stunning picture quality, tons of features. We will not upgrade until the prices on the very best 8K sets come out of the stratosphere.

Still rockin' my 32 inch 480p CRT from 1995. Perfect uniformity. No DSE or vertical banding. Plus my dog has ZERO chance of knockout over.

I can put the VCR right on top. No need (or ability) to wall mount it. It comes with an A/V Jack and an "antenna in" coaxial.

It doubles as a bookcase. Or a plant holder. Or a chair if company comes over.

It's in my living room. For good. Seriously, it's heavy, I have a bad back and I can't move it.

Long live the CRT!

Im still watching my Panasonic plasma that I bought in 2010, no complaints on my side. Just checking out the new ones on the market that's all.

You forgot to mention the Sony and Panasonic OLED TVs use LG OLED panels. I believe that is important information in the context of how you structured that part of the video.

People go crazy for new tvs. I don't understand it. Make sure you have 4k, hdr, dolby vision and atmos if you want it. Make sure you don't have back-lit TV as you lose quality. You want micro dimming tvs. You can get this for 450 pounds in UK. All these tvs that are nearly a grand offer next to nothing. 4k and Hdr are the only big upgrades over the last few years. Oled burns Into your TV and pretty quick so avoid them. Other than that, don't get robbed. Reviewers give the same brands the same results every time because they notice the same little things and say its incredible. It isnt at all. It's all marketing and payed for scores. The b8 for example is great other than the horrible burn. It really is a great TV. Problem is its over a grand and best non oled screen we had in was a Phillips for 450pound. That is a 55". The hdr was far better on the Philips than the b8. Curry's show better quality content in store on the b8 than they do on the other tvs.

0:35 "...even if you're sitting up close, it's impossible to see each pixel", but shows blurry picture of screen/sharp picture of bezel.
1:25 During the HDR segment, shows washed out, almost monochrome scenes.

I heard that Sony, Panasonic, and others do use the LG or Samsung OLED panel?
Right now thinking on buying LG 4K 55 TV. For me when I choose with other brands was if it has all the apps I want.
YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon was a must for me. Just a couple of month ago in Japan LG did not have Hulu so I was looking into other brands but since now they have
it I will go with LG. Not many brands have all 4 I wanted.

I like how all of these guides assume that people have $2k+ to drop on a tv

OLED all the way, so glad I changed my QLED out. Awesome picture quality and perfect viewing angles. Everybody asks me why my TV looks so sharp and crisp !! hahah. I'll be on OLED till MicroLED has matured for sure!

I can't afford any of the TVs he mentioned. So I'll go for the cheapest 4k in best buy.
