2:48 small correction, though important enough to point out.
The O in OLED stands for Organic, which means OLED pixels degrade/decay with use. Burn-in refers to when pixels degrade unequally in a pattern so you notice the difference between common and uncommonly used pixels. Modern monitors mitigate this phenomenon by having screen savers that don't "save" your screen but rather make sure every pixel is degraded at the same rate. So yes you will not encounter "burn-in", because whatever damage is done to the least healthy pixel is applied to every other pixel. OLED as it is currently will just get worse over time as you use it.
That is the major drawback of getting OLED technology; your monitor decays while being the more expensive option.

I bought the MSI 274UPF in Feb 2024. It started showing white flickering lines across the screen after 6 months. I RMA'd it and MSI payed for the shipping back to them to fix it. They then told me that they didn't have parts for the 274UPF or they were discontinued. So they sent me the MSI 323UPF as a replacement. And the 323 is been really good so far, hope it lasts longer than 6 months.

16:44 I agree, I love my ASUS PG32UCDM. But I bought mine for a little over $1000. But if I was buying now I wouldn't pay $300 more for it. Stick with Aorus FO32U2P until Asus comes down on price.

I just upgraded from an ASUS 28" 4k 60Hz monitor to the Samsung 32" Neo G8 (240Hz) and I'm really happy with it.

My brother has the MSI 4K 32" gaming monitor. The glossy display makes everything just pop and look better than the matte ones.

I'm so close to buying a 32" OLED. So close. Just waiting to see if they're doing any Black Friday deals on them. $800 for the MSI is still a little spicy. And my 32" Corsair Xeneon is already pretty great as is.

Got the LG 32 in IPS for £540 within 3 days rows of dead pixels, found out LG out sourced BOE and there's 6 months of bad batches. Sent it back then spent £840 at Dell and got the 32 in QD-OLED 240hz Lucky for me the price shot up to £1000 a week later.

The LG C4 supports 4k 144 Hz. Was that an error or does it only display 4k 120 Hz when used with a PC?

Woah, I was just trying to look for one yesterday. Trying to find something good for a 7950x3d and a 4090 combo

IMO you need to consider PPI when buying a PC monitor. I have a 42" C3 and love it. It has ~105 PPI which is fine if you sit a good armlength (~80cm) away from your monitor. I wouldn't go below 100 PPI on a desk monitor.

On the other hand I believe, most people will not see a difference above 150 PPI on a desk monitor.

This is also called pixel per degree. If i remember correctly it should be above 60.

Even though I am not in the market for a monitor atm and I don't know when I will be I appreciate that you do these videos to go in depth about it and I always enjoy watching them. I know where I'm coming first when I am in the market.

Prices for all those 32” OLED’s are more than twice the price in Australia. Even after currency conversion and import taxes we get taken for an absolute ride
