Dr Boz just totally described me. I've been keto and fasting for 11 months now. And now I understand why my hair was falling out all of last year. My hair finally stopped falling out a month ago. Six months into keto I detoured into 40 days of carnivore, which turned out to be an elimination diet for me. This past month I successfully reintroduced organic cooked broccoli and organic cultured high fat dairy. My priority shifted from weight loss, to gut healing and liver detoxing.

Biggest issue for me was my fear of salt. Lack of electrolytes gave me horrible muscle cramps, elevated heart rate and fatigue.

For 5 years, I've been eating the same 2 meals every day. I would like to think that the nutrition is there, or else I'd have known about it by now.

I'm surprised at how hard it is to eat enough fat! I finally started eating cream cheese every day (I'm not lactose intolerant) and that helped so much with getting in to the right ketone zone and getting decent sleep! I'm nostly carnivore and am not especially attracted to carbs, but the fixing the fat situation really made all the difference!

Wow, this makes so much sense. Ive lost so much hair and exhaustion got worse. I was making tons of ketones for a while. Now just barely making any. However, when i eat a lot of fat i gain weight. What to do?

Was it just me or was this really lacking any info on how to fix the issues. Ive been Carnivore for months and lifting weights gained muscle and my libido hasnt improved. My endurance is a lot better even my ED is gone but im only keen like once a fortnight sometimes not even that
