I think I understand from Dr. Boz's other vids is that the imprint she is talking about is fluid in the interstitial space that leads into the lymph system. So, for some reason inflammation causes more fluid to travel into the lymph system. The Dr does not explain the mechanism of action well, or at all. The Dr puts out an incredible amount of useful information. Thumbs Up!

The thumb print is more like water retention… which in my mind this person is sedentary. Get moving to distribute the fluid. For me, (being allergic to certain foods), cause an immunologic response which cause an inflammatory reaction. Eliminating those foods (and not over eating), helps balance. Stay away from sugar, over processed, over cooked, and certain oils which for me causes an immediate inflammatory response.

We have food allergies which cause inflammation. Often the first signs that something is wrong is a itchiness around the foot area. Inflammation can be anything the allergen touches.

thank you doctor and one of the best simple diagnostic tips to do to see if we have pitting edema and inflammation. I think all of us that are not fully practicing keto could have some type of indentation

I've had awful pain in my knees and hands, fuzzy brain and overall stiffness for ages Two days of no bread/wheat and low carb and my pain is down to a 5 already. It's been a 9-10 for weeks. I have done low carb and wheat free before and felt so much better! Why do I punish myself? Because I only need to slip off the wagon and have a sandwich once and I literally can think of nothing but bread, pasta, pastry and anything else with wheat in!! It's so addictive. 😔

wow wonderful, So If print remains where to from that point? Does it matter when you do this simple test, after a meal, in the morning, at night, after food e.t.c?
