In this video, you'll learn how to be more positive by cultivating a little habit that changed my life in the last few months.

Articles:

Summary:
I have a tiny life-changing habit that I have been following for over half a year now that I want to share with you guys.

It’s the daily habit of gratitude. Specifically every day before dinner I'll think about 1 thing I'm grateful for that day.

This is such a simple habit, but I haven't heard many people do it.

And when practice this on a daily basis it completely transforms your perspective on life.

Gratitude has been proven by over 40 research studies to have a lasting and wide-reaching impact on all aspects of life and it's consistently shown that gratitude is essential to happiness and well-being.

Simply reason why I have stuck with the habit because it's so small. It's very sustainable and takes no time.

On top of that, I already linked it to an anchor which is having dinner. So I use dinner as a trigger because I know I will eat dinner every day.

It is so much easier to build a new habit into your lifestyle when you choose the right trigger.

3 Reasons Why You Should Do This

1. It is a really good idea to force yourself into a positive frame of mind at least once per day.

Everyone has bad days and frustrating moments, myself included.

But no matter what happens each day, when I sit down for dinner I am forced to think about the good in my life for at least a few seconds. The result is that there is not a day that goes by without me specifically stating something positive that is happening around me. Positive thinking opens your eyes to more opportunities.

2. The individual day impact of this tiny gratitude habit is small, but the compound effect is MASSIVE!

The power of this habit comes from a multiplier effect that takes hold after practicing it for a month or two.

You begin to realize that nearly every day is a good day (at least in a small way).

3. You start to realize how insignificant money is for your day-to-day happiness.

The majority of my grateful moments don’t cost a dime: time spent with friends and family, something nice someone said, a good workout that day.

That’s not to say money is unimportant, but there is something comforting in realizing that the moments you’re actually grateful for each day are free.

I can say that this daily gratitude habit has made a difference in my long-term happiness.

It’s one of those qualities that everyone wants to do more but that we rarely talk about how to do.

Let me know in the comments if you're gonna add this habit to your life.

Yeah, I will start doing this. I was kind'a doing same thing unconsciously already, but now I will make it a positive habit. Thanks, Mario!

I begin & end my day with a gratitude ritual. At the start of day I'm thankful that I woke up-able to use all of my sense & limbs-the roof over my head-having enough to eat & so on. At end of day I'm thankful for the things I accomplished-the people who I interacted/encountered & the events I experienced.  Great topic Mario. Thanks!!

Challenge accepted.

At the end of the day, right before going to sleep I write down the lessons and describe briefly how went the day in each part (working out, studying, working, social life, break time...). I'll add a list of things that make me feel grattitude. That's how I'll anchor it

Did the 5 minute journal for 2 months, then fell off. Anchoring it to eating is a good tip. I'll try that.
