Obviously his wife didn't care about God too much to "accidentally" marry an unbeliever. The thing that matters most in a mate is religion/Godliness. I wouldn't marry a girl who doesn't love God significantly more than the average Christian. She must of been painfully lukewarm

Being saved is supposed to mean salvation. Dave did not get saved, he got what most professing Christianity calls being saved, CONVERSION, as in, no longer a non believer. Why didn't the title say the day Dave got CONVERTED? Because there is an obsession with blood of the lamb, fruit of the spirit, Christianspeak lingo, to boast of that which is not actual, just metaphorical. He's not born again either, especially the way Jesus described it to Nichodemus.
