This is HUGE: 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid on Everyman Driver

The 2025 Toyota Camry is officially being called the ninth generation of the popular sedan, but it's really more of a mild facelift than an all-new vehicle. With a starting price under $30,000, it's not any longer, wider, or taller than its predecessor, and it carries over many of the same features and options. Revised front and rear fascias give it a more modern appearance, and there are a few new color choices. The big news is that the 2025 Camry switches to an all-hybrid lineup. The base four-cylinder gas engine has been dropped, along with the optional V6. That leaves only one drivetrain: a hybrid setup that combines a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with either a single electric motor on front-wheel-drive models, or two electric motors on all-wheel-drive models. Total output for the system is 225 horsepower (232 hp on AWD models), which is more than the previous hybrid's 208 hp. Toyota says that the suspension has been retuned for improved responsiveness, but there are no major revisions to the overall setup. It's a similar story for the interior as the basic design remains the same and there are no changes to the interior dimensions. New color and trim options give the cabin a fresh look, and updated seat designs boost the comfort level for the driver and front passenger. The latest infotainment systems feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as over-the-air updates. The trim levels have been simplified, resulting in a basic LE, sporty SE, loaded XLE, and top-of-the-line XSE. The TRD performance model is no longer part of the lineup. Primary competitors to the 2025 Toyota Camry include the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata. Both have been updated recently and offer hybrid and non-hybrid options in addition to performance models.

My Toyota Camry is going to be 30 years old in 2025, & it is still going strong! Toyota build them to LAST, that is for sure. I am gonna keep my 1995 Camry, but I'm in the market for a new Toyota. But now I am torn, I was going to get a RAV4, but now I'm kind of loving the 2025 Camry!

This would be a great car if you can find a dealer that won't hose down customers.

Picked up my 2025 XSE AWD in heavy metal yesterday ... loving it. Do think Toyota missed it by not having memory seats on a top of the line model like this. Also I quickly turned off the camera that watches you driving .. driving home the car twice told me to "sit up" ... I don't think so. Turned off!

First video I see of you and I noticed that “super easy, barely an inconvenience” lmao. Not sure if you always say that but got a chuckle out of me for that reference.

I bought a 2025 Camry yesterday. Drove plenty of other cars for $42, 000 and under and this seems the most logical overall. I always have an SUV and a truck. I swore I’d never ever buy a Hybrid or eCVT- I also don’t like blue cars. Guess what I have a Reservoir Blue and those other things in my driveway lol. I ran into a very good salesman and I was simply ready to take the jump. It’s my first Toyota- and the gas mileage captured my curiosity. My car as equipped was $39, 009 MSRP but the dealer was kind enough to discount the car. I bought the model off of the showroom floor. I got every option but AWD- there haven’t been any available in Oklahoma City.

If they bring out Wagon version of this... I'm buying one.
I'm sick of these stupid SUV's that cost arms and legs for couple inches of height

The dangerously thin tires are a turnoff for me.

I have a 2023 Camry SE and the sport mode on the transmission is zooming immediately when needed... afterwards just push Eco and your back to saving gas.

Nice, but I love my black 2020 2.0T Accord, and getting black hybrid soon which with tint and rims and few touches looks better too

19" Wheels no good for city driving. I Would have to switch them out for 18". Wish the 19in wheels was an option😊 on the XSE

I have a 2020 Camry and before that...a 2005 Camry (15 years). It's a terrible idea to NOT offer a non-hybrid Camry for 2025! Some potential buyers do not want a hybrid!

This is a crap car. 37 inches of ground clearance means concussions galore. 5.4 inches of ground clearance means it can’t even tackle many driveways.
