This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Toyota Crown Signia premium Toyota Crown compact crossover. The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is assembled in Japan and uses the same platform that underpins the Crown sedan. It will be hitting dealerships next summer.
The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia has a stylish exterior design with a monochromatic grille, sleek roofline, wide fenders and 21” dark grey wheels. 19” are standard in the US, but 21” are available on the top trim.
Toyota says the Signia builds on the best attributes of the Crown sedan by adding more functionality and versatility. Five exterior colour options are available as well as a two-tone option with a black roof
This 2025 Toyota Crown Signia certainly has a Lexus vibe to it, Toyota really focused on giving this SUV a more upscale look. In the US, there are two trims available but in Canada only one and it’s the top Limited trim. The saddle tan leather trimmed seats with double stitching, quilting, and piping with a bronze finished trim on the dash gives it a more luxury feel. In the US, cloth and Softex seats are standard but the top trim adds leather. Tan or black interior colours are available.
The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia comes standard with dual 12.3” screens, a touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android and a digital driver display. Toyota says their engineers spent many hours studying and engineering reductions in noise, vibration and harshness for this SUV. Noise minimizing materials include acoustic glass on the front side windows, a dash silencer and an engine cover made of acoustic absorbing materials. Toyota also focused on the seats and the comfort level with moderate bolsters that cradle the front seat passengers.
There is just one powertrain option for the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia and it’s a hybrid. A 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors, it’s matched to an eCVT and has a combined 243 horsepower, standard AWD.
The AWD system has a dedicated rear electric motor to deliver extra traction when needed and it can tow up to 2700 pounds. The manufacturers estimated fuel economy is 6.5L/100 km, 36 MPG combined. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.

Andrea is the ONLY automotive reporter that would take the risk of P***sing off Toyota by climbing through the vehicle to get the job done. That what I love🩷💙🩷 about this girl. Zack, you are one lucky dude to be married to this woman! Again, love all your reporting & opinions. Cheers from London, Ontario.

Hi guys, love your channel. I have a simple, straight forward question about ALL cars. What are your thoughts on how expensive the average car is nowadays? It's almost as if we're expected to spend $50K -$70K on a new vehicle. Is it just me? The prices are ridiculous all across the board. You want a new F150...of that's $80K +, you want a new Mazda Suv...oh thats $50K+...what the hell has happened to this industry? and yes, there are the odd cars that are very inexpensive, but that's not the norm. I own a 2017 Mazda 6, 6speed transmission, I bought it for $37, 000 brand new, and this is their top of the line model....in the last few years, brand new cars have SKY rocketed in price. I'm going to keep my Mazda 6 for as long as I can

Great first look you two. I agree about the side window height; it seems as though side impact crash safety has necessitated slot windows. 👍

Enjoying your uploads from the Toronto auto show! Today would have been my father's birthday and mine was a few weeks ago, we would always go to the Toronto show together for our birthdays and choose our next cars for fun. We both moved to Vancouver Island and he's since passed but good memories and I wish I could teleport there to walk around the show.
