I have a 2021 Camry LE, base model that I bought on sale for $23.5K. This happened after my late wife’s Lexus ES350 at 100K miles lost a water pump and took out the engine. Lexus wanted 12, 500 to fix a 7, 000 car. At the time I considered the Camry to be the best car in the World, by far, when you make price a key factor. But I also had a chance to compare the Camry performance and drivability against the ES350. The Camry was always very close to the ES350. Its gas mileage was literally twice the Lexus on regular versus premium gas. And the Lexus maintenance costs are staggering. Three years later, I love the Camry and can hardly wait to drive it every day. By the way I bought a Camry station wagon in 1990 and had it for 27 years.

I’m waiting until 2026 so they can work out any issues with the new release. Very nice looking car. Thanks for your review. I’m excited to see one of these. Thinking of the XLE trim.

When I first saw the design I was skeptical, but this looks really nice in red and with the black wheels. Hopefully this drives down the price of the 2018-24’s so I can grab one

I just traded my 2020 Camry hybrid in for the reservoir blue xle. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks. He is spot on that it drives a lot better than outgoing models. Only downside I’ve noticed is that in my old 2020 hybrid. I used to get about 50mpg combined and in this one I’m only getting about 43mpg where I live.

I have a brand new one in my driveway. I’m in love. It’s soooo sharp and drives amazing. I was a Subaru girl and switched due to high repair/maintenance costs of my last Subaru. Yesterday I drove a 24 camry ad a loaner while my car was coated. I was stunned at the difference. The 25 is much better.

Bought my 08 Camry xle about 5 years ago with 86, 000. It now has 250, 000 miles. Never any trouble except for oil changes and tires. Everything works and it’s fully. Loaded. Next year I’ll buy a new one but keeping old reliable.

You should do more reviews! Yours are some of my faves. No BS and always straightforward information. Had a 2015 XSE V6 it was a snoozer except for the powerful engine, but what a great reliable powertrain. We'll see if this one is as reliable as the 7th generation was. 8th was meh in my opinion except cosmetically.

Seems like their collaboration with Mazda has been helpful in terms of handling and interior functionality.

You have some great points but i would have a hard time giving up my 2018 XSE V6 camry for a hybrid 4 banger. To each their own though.

You have the best channel and I enjoy all your reviews. It’s disheartening that other manufacturers can’t make a reliable product like Toyota. It’s the only brand I’ll buy. They run forever when well maintained

I’m driving a 2015 Camry V6 XLE with 128K miles and works beautifully. I’m planning to keep it for 3 to 4 more years but new one is really a temptation. That red paint is gorgeous and everyone is saying drives awesome. I want to see the TRD edition with over 330 hp.
