This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Toyota Camry mid-size sedan, now with hybrid only.

The 2025 Toyota Camry has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with Toyota’s 5th generation Hybrid system, it’s matched to an eCVT. FWD models get a combined 225 horsepower and AWD models 232 horsepower.
The 2025 Toyota Camry has a reengineered suspension, SE and XSE models have a sport tuned suspension and the braking system has been updated.
The 2025 Toyota Camry interior gets a nice upgrade which it needed, I wasn’t crazy about the centre console layout in the previous model. It comes with some great standard features and plenty of updated technology including a 7” digital driver display, 8” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, heated front seats, Softex and cloth upholstery, heated steering wheel, a power driver’s seat and a manual passenger seat. A moonroof is available on the base model. In the US, not all these features are standard but available.
The top two 2025 Toyota Camry trims get the extra features like dual 12.3” screens, a head-up display, a panoramic view monitor, 9-speaker JBL sound system, 8-way power passenger seat, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery and a digital key. In the US, some of these features are only available in packages on those two top trims.
There are features only the 2025 Toyota Camry XLE trim gets, they include driver seat memory, memory mirrors, rain sensing wipers and a micro-fibre trimmed and leather interior.
The 2025 Toyota Camry gets excellent fuel economy, city and highway numbers are the same. FWD 16” wheels 4.9L/100 km, 48 MPG. AWD 18” wheels 5.1L/100 km, 46 MPG.
In Canada, the Camry SE FWD model starts at $37,282 CAD, SE Upgrade FWD $39,282 CAD, SE Upgrade AWD $40,932 CAD, XSE AWD $47,232 CAD and XLE AWD $47,932 CAD. Pricing includes, Freight, PDI and Fees.
In the US, LE FWD/AWD $28,400 USD/$29,925 USD, SE FWD/AWD $30,700 USD/$32,225 USD, XLE FWD/AWD $33,400 USD/$34,925 USD and XSE FWD/AWD $34,600 USD/$36,125 USD.

In Canada, Toyotas have absurd wait times. The dealers treat you like they're doing you a favour. No thanks. I still prefer when dealers throw in extras to woo you and make an effort to get your business.

I'm always highly impressed with your videos. All of your research takes a lot of work and then to prepare a script, present it while your driving, and then to edit your video are also a lot of work. Great job!

Just when I think I'm getting a SUV/crossover like everyone else, I see that fuel economy, and I do a Spock raise of the eyebrow.

"Canadians want high spec cars", thats bull, 46% canadian family income is less than 60k/yr and only 21% makes over 100k. Canadians want cheap affordable strip down cars to stay off of debt, majority is broke. Car companies just setting the bar up, pure greed.

Great review as usual. I'm impressed with the 2025 Camry and will definitely consider getting one as my next car. On a side note, I always include "Motormouth" when searching for automobile reviews.

Team Motormouth, To answer your question, the 300 hp FWD V6 will be missed by a few but far, far more Canadians will miss the affordable Camry LE. The next time you speak with the brains trust running Toyota Canada, PLEASE ask them why we cannot have the Camry LE and other base models available to our American neighbours.🤨

Great review, as always. Looks like a great overall effort. From what I can tell, the touch screen graphics aren't particularly attractive or easy to distinguish at a glance. This has been my experience with other Toyotas. I find Honda's coloured icons on a black background easier to quickly identify. (This isn't a comment on how well organized the interface is. I can't speak to that.)

That power, that price point, that package, that fuel efficiency. This is a home run. Good job, Toyota.

I have been told by a friend who works at Toyota. They real reason they ditched the Camry LE, is to convince those who want a base Camry to get a fully loaded XLE Corolla or Corolla Cross. Also those who is driving a Camry V6 would like to see a Hybrid Max as an optional engine choice. But its not a writing on the wall that Canadian Camry won't get an LE. Who knows we might see it next year.

But as someone who has a 2015 Camry SE hybrid as a company car.I will likely wait for a used one, in a decade.
