These urban legends about cleaning have been passed around since like the 80’s so…as an old lady, I’ll just review them all.

0:12 put bread in a bread-sized container and use it’s bread bag to pull it up. Pro: makes bread easier to remove without sticking your whole forearm in a bag. Con: it’s hard to find a container the same width and height as bread.

0:17 spear sponges on a rotisserie to clean small awkward spaces. Pro: cleans small awkward spaces. Con: you can lose or snag the sponge, and a lot of grunge would be missed. Better choice: pull out your appliances and clean under them or use a tool made for the job.

0:27 make a tin foil hat and use it to tent steam salmon Pro: Tin foil hat is tinfoily Con: everything else.

0:28 use shaving cream to clean fabric. Pro: fabric smells like shaving cream now. Con: Mess remains on fabric. But do I detect the fragrance of shaving cream? Better plan: use something that lifts stains. Like peroxide.

It’s got a low setting, and cleans books on shelves, removes dust from everything, the light fixtures, cobwebs on ceiling, dust behind tv, piano, and curtain tops. I use it, then wait five minutes, then vacuum dust tabletops and from the floors. 😃
