I love the “put away later bin” idea. Putting it in a bin looks so much more purposeful than piling it on my dresser!

Just watching the first several minutes of this, I am leaving a comment. I am an Operating Room nurse, where cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing efficiently after each surgical case is a top priority. And the tips you gave, are exactly what we do. Always get rid of all the trash first. Put away clean/sterile items back where they go, or put in a location that will allow you to deal with them when you can. Do a “pre-mop or pre-clean” in the dirtiest areas, then clean top-to-bottom, from corner to corner. There a couple more things we do that aren’t relevant to regular house cleaning, but those first steps have transformed how I clean quickly and thoroughly!

My all time favorite cleaning tool is a battery operated Oral B toothbrush. Around $12 at Walmart and instead of throwing away the brushes I have used in my own Oral B I use them to clean all sorts of places. Even my hummingbird feeders.

You and Melissa maker taught me how to “adult” almost 10 years ago when I graduated college and moved out on my own. Funny because I already do most of those cleaning tips you mentioned in the beginning and now remember why!

I love the ‘clean and reuse tip’ that I actually knew but wasn’t practicing since I hadn’t the right motivation. Now that I hear it from you makes such a difference, because you point out that it has to be a micro fiber cloth. Normal clothes used many times are such a mess. Great tips and video, as always!

Love the tips from Melissa Maker, fellow Canadian🇨🇦, and Vanessa Amaro…the best cleaning experts. Swedish cloths are the best things EVER for cleaning, especially in the kitchen. Thank you for the great video!

Love these tips! My favorite one is the obvious one! Cleaning from left to right and top to bottom. I find myself all over the place at times and it takes me longer to clean! Need to be more conscious with this tip!! 🙌🏻❤️

I love how you put it into steps “waves”. As someone who has adhd it can be hard to not feel overwhelmed with task and organization. This makes it way easier.

I just fully cleaned my room (whole sha-bang: moved out all furniture, baking soda on carpet for hour, vacuumed it all up) so these tips are all great ways for me to maintain its cleanliness (hopefully lol) 😊

Dedicated bins for selling/donating/recycling have really helped me with decluttering.

Bona is the mop I have!! Love it! My dad has been a flooring installer for over 30 years and he has always recommended Bona products as long as I can remember!!

Hi Brittany! I love all of your well researched tips! I often forget to let my cleaning solution sit for awhile to kill germs. My favorite tip was the magic eraser sheets. I had no idea these were available ❤❤❤🎉🎉

I learned so much from Melissa Maker. I stopped buying cleaning chemicals and just use Melissa's formulas now. Occasionally I'll use oven cleaner but for the most part baking soda and vinegar has worked amazing!

Absolutely adopting the donate and wear/put away bins. I’m always struggling with this. Plus I will be grabbing some of your dishtowels…already in my cart! Very helpful tips!
